The Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) softball nipped the host Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), 10-9 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league outing on Monday, March 24. Southeast Halifax will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 36-26 league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Wilson Prep moves to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Northampton County (Gaston, NC) to encounter the Jaguars in a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
