The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), observed Pacifica's softball team get by Canyon by a final score of 4-1.

The Mariners (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Highlanders go into the bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, La Habra was routed by El Modena (Orange, CA), 9-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Comanches battle the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 24. Canyon will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Schurr (Montebello, CA).
