Louisiana High School Softball - Mt. Hermon bounces Varnado

The Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Varnado Wildcats to 7 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklinton for a non-league battle on Friday, March 20. Mt. Hermon will confront a Demons team coming off a 15-5 league loss to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Demons record now stands at 6-13.
The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Pine was routed by Albany (Albany, LA), 15-0, in a league challenge.
