The Western Wildcats got by the visiting Columbus Explorers lacrosse team by a final score of 13-12 in Tuesday's non-league match.
With the win, Western betters its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL) to play the Stallions in a non-league match on Thursday, March 4. The Stallions go into the match with a record of 0-1. American Heritage lost 12-5 in their recent non-league match against Belen Jesuit (Miami, FL)
With the defeat, Columbus drops to 3-2 on the season. The Explorers host The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to play the Highlanders in a non-league match on Saturday, March 13. The Highlanders go into the match with a record of 1-0.
