In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Pickens Dragons baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Gilmer Bobcats.
The Dragons (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Lumpkin County by Pickens (Jasper, GA), 7-5, in a non-league game.
The Bobcats (5-2) will now prepare for their game against North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans go into the AAA Region 7 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, North Hall by North Oconee (Bogart, GA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
