The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) and the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), saw Whitney's volleyball squad nip Ponderosa by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Whitney upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Bruins now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Twelve Bridges for a bout on Thursday, March 10.
