The Vanguard Knights held off the visiting Dunnellon Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleview for a non-league test on Monday, March 7. Vanguard will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Port (Ocala, FL). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-1.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against North Marion (Citra, FL). The Colts enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, North Marion was nudged by Forest (Ocala, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
