Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Comets confront the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 3. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).

The Jets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woods Charter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Jordan-Matthews will confront a Wolves team coming off a 0-0 league Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 0-0.
