The Montgomery Central Timberwolves baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Anson Bearcats to 2 in the Timberwolves non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Timberwolves (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Richmond got by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Anson falls to 0-1 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
