The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) and the visiting Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA), saw Loranger's softball squad nip Franklinton by a count of 19-18.
The Wolves now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Hermon for a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. Loranger will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Franklinton falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Pine (Franklinton, LA) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 0-0.
