Brookstone Cougars (Columbus, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Brookstone upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Gators come into the test with a record of 7-1. Glenwood won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA)

With the defeat, Bessemer Academy falls to 3-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Westfield School (Perry, GA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-1. Westfield School won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)
