Flint River Academy Wildcats (Woodbury, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Flint River Academy upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Skipstone Academy (Griffin, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Taylor County falls to 2-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 1A D-II Area 6 test on Monday, March 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Chattahoochee County won 9-5 in their recent league test against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
