The Pine Raiders crushed the visiting Varnado Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 16-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sumrall for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 11.
Next, the Wildcats face the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 6. Varnado will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-0 league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA).
