The Douglas Bearcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Newcastle Dogies to 14 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearcats now sport a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheatland for a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. Douglas will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-31 non-league win over Glenrock (Glenrock, WY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-16.
The Dogies (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against Glenrock (Glenrock, WY). The Herders enter the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Glenrock was routed by Wheatland (Wheatland, WY), 34-31, in a non-league contest.
