Arizona High School Volleyball - Gilbert over Mountain Ridge

The Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gilbert betters its record to 1-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, March 3. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 8-2. Crescenta Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against La Canada (La Canada, CA)

The Mountain Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Casteel for a non-league outing on Friday, March 3. Mountain Ridge will face a Colts squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 2-0.
