In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Ballard Bombers basketball team scored a tight 33-32 triumph over the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs.
In their next game, the Bombers meet the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 4. Ballard will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 24-3 record after their 53-41 non-league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA).
With the defeat, Dallas Center-Grimes moves to 17-4 on the year.
