Branson Pirates (Branson, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Parkview Vikings (Springfield, MO), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Branson upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to West Plains (West Plains, MO) to play the Zizzers in a Ozarks bout on Saturday, March 4. The Zizzers come into the bout with a record of 20-7. West Plains won 68-28 in their recent league bout against Hillcrest (Springfield, MO)
