The Cypress Bay Lightning lacrosse team scored 22 points and held the host Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes to 6 in the Lightning non-league win on Thursday.

The Lightning (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Stoneman Douglas prevailed over Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 15-12, in a non-league game.

The Golden Tornadoes (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Taravella (Coral Springs, FL). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record.
