Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN), 8-5 in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to University School of Nashville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 7. Independence will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 18-4 league loss to Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Centennial Cougars (Franklin, TN) in a Central South battle, on Tuesday, March 7. Summit will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY).
