In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils baseball team scored a tight 11-8 victory over the Richlands Wildcats.
The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their game against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their game against New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, New Bern edged Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
