California High School Softball - Millikan can't get by Pacifica

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) softball team held off the host Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, Pacifica moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Mariners travel to Esperanza (Anaheim, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. The Aztecs come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Esperanza lost 16-4 in their recent non-league contest against Kennedy (La Palma, CA)

In their next game, the Rams play the Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Millikan will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
