In Thursday's non-league test, the host Philip Simmons Iron Horses lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Beaufort Eagles.
The Iron Horses now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bluffton for a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. Philip Simmons will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 19-3 league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a 4A-1A Lower test, on Friday, March 10. Beaufort will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
