In Thursday's league test, the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the North Davidson Black Knights.
The Cardinals now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Stokes for a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test on Tuesday, March 7. Cornerstone Charter will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Black Knights face the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test, on Tuesday, March 7. North Davidson will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
