The Central Red Devils routed the host Benjamin Russell Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 16-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Red Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Hoover topped Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 7-4, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brantley for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 4. Benjamin Russell will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
