California High School Softball - Newport Harbor topped by Marina

March 2, 2023: Huntington Beach, CA 92649

The Marina Vikings softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Newport Harbor Sailors to 2 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Marina moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Vikings host Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA) to clash with the Oilers in a Sunset game on Tuesday, March 7. The Oilers come into the game with a record of 2-0. Huntington Beach won 13-0 in their recent league game against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Sailors clash with the Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. Newport Harbor will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA).
