With the win, Vandebilt Catholic upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Terriers travel to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-7. Central Lafourche lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA)

With the defeat, New Iberia falls to 4-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to battle the Lions in a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-5.
