The Esperanza Aztecs held off the visiting Villa Park Spartans volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Aztecs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Modena for a test on Thursday, March 7.
The Spartans (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.
