California High School Volleyball - Sylmar edged by West

The West Warriors held off the visiting Sylmar Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. West will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
The Spartans (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars enter the Valley Mission test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Kennedy was nudged by Lancaster (Lancaster, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
