The Richmond Heights Spartans tipped the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 24-20 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 7. Richmond Heights will attempt to move on its 21-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 52-49 non-league win over John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH).

With the defeat, Western Reserve moves to 16-11 on the year.
