The Carlsbad Cavemen the visiting Clovis Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 11-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cavemen now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Centennial for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 5. Carlsbad will face a Hawks team coming off a 16-2 non-league win over El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Wildcats face the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 5. Clovis will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 37-0 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM).
