The Austin Black Bears softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Florence Falcons to 0 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Austin improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Black Bears travel to West Limestone (Lester, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 12-2. West Limestone won 8-0 in their recent non-league game against New Hope (New Hope, AL)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) in a 7A Area 8 game, on Monday, March 4. Florence will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Black Bears come into the game with a 10-6 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL).
