Bay Tornadoes (Panama City, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Malone Tigers (Malone, FL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tornadoes now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arnold for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 4. Bay will battle a Marlins squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Marlins record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Malone falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Cottonwood won 24-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Daleville (Daleville, AL)
