The Mandeville Skippers routed the host Springfield Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 10-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Skippers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, John Curtis Christian was routed by Jena (Jena, LA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Doyle for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 6.
