New Mexico High School Softball - Mater Dei bounces Rio Rancho

The Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) softball routed the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Monarchs (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record.

The Rams now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Valencia for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 5. Rio Rancho will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
