Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Madill Wildcats (Madill, OK), 21-0 in a non-league match.
The Owls (2-0) will now prepare for their game against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders go into the 5A District 2 match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, MacArthur notched a victory over Altus (Altus, OK), 13-5, in a league match.
The Wildcats now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Grove for a non-league match on Monday, March 9. Madill will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-0.
