Nevada High School Softball - Spring Valley bounces Durango

March 2, 2026: Las Vegas, NV 89147

In Monday's league match, the host Spring Valley Grizzlies softball team scored a nice 20-2 win over the Durango Trailblazers.

The Grizzlies (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields come into the 4A Desert match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Cheyenne notched a victory over Valley (Las Vegas, NV), 25-3, in a league game.

The Trailblazers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bonanza for a 4A Desert game on Wednesday, March 4. Durango will play a Bengals squad coming off a 15-12 league loss to Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV). The Bengals record now stands at 1-2.
