Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) and the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), saw Alcovy's baseball squad knock off Morrow by a count of 6-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a 6A Area 3 battle, on Wednesday, March 22. Alcovy will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 12-2 league loss to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA).

The Mustangs now possess a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mundy's Mill for a 6A Area 3 battle on Wednesday, March 22. Morrow will play a Tigers squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
