The Carlmont Scots held off the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Scots now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Mateo for a test on Wednesday, March 22. Carlmont will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Fightin' Irish (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record.
