The Cape Fear Colts lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the host Terry Sanford Bulldogs to 8 in the Colts league win on Monday.
The Colts (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the United 8/All American/Sandhills match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Pinecrest was tipped by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 14-7, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the United 8/All American/Sandhills match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Jack Britt was tipped by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 19-8, in a league match.
