The Apex Cougars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Green Level Gators to 4 in the Cougars league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Apex improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Southwest Wake 4A game on Thursday, March 23. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 5-2. Apex Friendship won 5-4 in their recent league game against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A game, on Thursday, March 23. Green Level will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC).
