In Monday's league contest, the Oakland Patriots (Murfreesboro, TN) softball team the host Blackman Blaze (Murfreesboro, TN), by a margin of 3-1.

With the triumph, Oakland moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 22.
