In Monday's league outing, the host Mt. Spokane Wildcats softball team scored a close 14-7 win over the Cheney Blackhawks.
Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane outing, on Wednesday, March 22. Mt. Spokane will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bullpups enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 26-17 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA).
The Blackhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Saxons enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Ferris was routed by Mead (Spokane, WA), 18-2, in a league outing.
