Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS), 20-0 in a league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ethel for a 1A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Sebastopol will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Leake County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 2-8.
