New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Point for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, March 23. New Hope will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Green Wave record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, West Point falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to face the Trojans in a 5A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, March 23.
