North Carolina High School Baseball - Pamlico County loses to Ayden - Grifton

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Pamlico County Hurricanes to 5 in the Chargers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chargers (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars go into the Eastern Plains 2A match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Farmville Central tipped Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 12-1, in a league match.

The Hurricanes (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Jones (Trenton, NC). The Trojans go into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Jones was overwhelmed by Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC), 12-0, in a league match.
