The Mount Vernon Mustangs baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Galloway Scots to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA). The WolfPack go into the 1A D-I Area 6 match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Whitefield Academy ran past Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA), 14-1, in a league match.

The Scots (4-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA). The Knights go into the 1A D-I Area 6 match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, St. Francis ran past Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA), 4-2, in a league match.
