In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Wolfe County Wolves baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Montgomery County Indians.
The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Boyd County tipped Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Bryan Station tipped East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 6-5, in a non-league game.
