Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA), 11-5 in a league test.

With the win, Parklane Academy upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Bowling Green lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA)

With the defeat, Silliman Institute falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Cougars in a battle on Monday, March 25. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 1-7. Brookhaven Academy lost 15-1 in their recent non-league battle against Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS)
