The Porter-Gaud Cyclones baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host St. John's Islanders to 3 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cyclones (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics gained a win over Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Islanders (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Dolphins go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Hilton Head Prep was overwhelmed by Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC), 11-2, in a league match.
