In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Apex Cougars soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Apex Friendship Patriots.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs come into the Southwest Wake 4A battle with a 4-3 record.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts come into the Southwest Wake 4A battle with a 4-4 record.
